Terms of Use
Effective date: October 2026
Welcome
choiceup.org is the website of ChoiceUp, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In these terms, "ChoiceUp," "we," and "us" mean ChoiceUp, Inc. "You" means anyone who visits or uses the site.
By using choiceup.org, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
These terms cover choiceup.org only. Our sister site, choiceup.com, is run by a separate company, ChoiceUp, LLC, and has its own terms.
Educational purpose
Everything on choiceup.org, including information about the Authentic Decision Field (ADF), is offered for general educational purposes.
It is not professional advice. Our content does not replace care from a licensed therapist, counselor, physician, or other qualified professional. It is not medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. Professionals who use the ADF in their work remain responsible for their own clinical and professional judgment.
It is not crisis support. If you or someone you know is in crisis or thinking about self-harm, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (in the U.S.), or call 911 in an emergency.
Our content and trademarks
The text, graphics, logos, illustrations, downloadable resources, and other materials on choiceup.org belong to ChoiceUp or the people who licensed them to us. They are protected by copyright and trademark law.
ChoiceUp® and Authentic Decision Field™ are trademarks of ChoiceUp, Inc. You may not use our names, logos, or framework names in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor, or partner with you, unless we've agreed to it in writing.
What you may do:
View, download, and print materials from the site for your own personal or educational use.
Share links to our pages freely.
Educators, counselors, and program staff may use downloadable resources with the people they serve, at no charge, as long as the ChoiceUp name and copyright notice stay on them.
What you may not do without our written permission:
Sell, license, or charge for our materials, or include them in a paid product, training, or course.
Change our materials and present the changed version as ChoiceUp's.
Repackage the ADF or our materials under another name.
To ask for permission, write to support@choiceup.org.
Using the site respectfully
When you use choiceup.org, please don't:
Break any law, or use the site to harm, harass, or mislead anyone.
Pretend to be ChoiceUp or someone else.
Try to hack, overload, or disrupt the site, or get into areas you aren't meant to reach.
Use bots or scrapers to copy large parts of the site.
Send spam or harmful code through our forms or email.
We may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these terms.
